GRUBBY 5 EC

GRUBBY 5 is a herbicide in the A1 group according to the EC mode of action classification. It is an herbicide from the Fop group, and it inhibits acetyl CoA carboxylase, thereby blocking the production of phospholipids used in the construction of new membranes necessary for cell growth. GRUBBY 5 EC is a systemic herbicide taken up by leaves. It is transported in the xylem and phloem and accumulates in meristematic tissues. Young growth points are affected first. Older leaves first turn purple, orange or red, then dry up. It can be used safely against narrow-leaved weeds in broad-leaved crop plants at the recommended dose and in the form of application.
