VOLLANT-P

According to the VOLLANT-P mode of action classification, C1.5; It is an herbicide in the N,8 groups. Metamitron is from the Triazinon chemical class, it is activated by the absorption of roots and leaves. Ethofumesate, on the other hand, is from the benzofuranyl chemical group, it shows its effect by being absorbed first from the leaves and then from the roots. VOLLANT-P is a post-emergence herbicide used against annual broadleaf weeds in sugar beet. Good success is achieved in weed control if weeds are properly covered with VOLLANT-P. It is a broad-spectrum herbicide used after emergence against one-year broad-leaved grasses. Vollant-P’s special water-based formulation increases the tolerance of sugar beet to this herbicide. It is used in the form of 3 applications with 7-10 days intervals, consecutively with divided dose (split) application. Even if there is no weed growth after the 1st application, the 2nd and 3rd applications should be continued. Soil moisture is very important for the VOLLANT-P to be effective. If the applications are made on dry soil, the effect of the herbicide begins to be seen after the rains that will occur after the application. It is effective from soil and leaves.
